Now in its 35th year of operation, the Center
on Education and Work (CEW) has a wide range of experience in projects and program
improvement initiatives that focus on integrating education and
learning reforms with the nation's changing economic, family, and
culture contexts of the nation. The CEW's work, as directed by Dr.
Alan Phelps, has involved researching, developing, and evaluating
projects in schools, post-secondary institutions, business organizations,
and communities across the U.S.
